Our Story
American Living by Chairs America was founded by two furniture manufacturers with over 50 years of combined experience. Founded in 2014 the goal was to offer designer quality and very comfortable furniture at prices far below the legacy manufacturers. To facilitate this, we forwent many of the productivity-slowing options like COM (customers' own material), multiple welt cord color choices, and various leg colors. Basically, this is the same model that Aldi uses in groceries. We use only top quality, long-lasting materials, American-supplied, blended with superior ergonomics. Our designer and fabric merchandiser stays at the forefront of today’s styles and colors and is often emulated by other companies.

Our Product
We are one of America’s largest exclusive manufacturers of occasional chairs, gliders and swivels. Our products can be found on the floors of many of America’s biggest and best known furniture retailers. Chairs America was founded with the intention of manufacturing the high quality, comfortable chairs, gliders and swivels with a strong value equation.
Our Process
Our products are made with the same top quality materials found in high end and designer furniture but cost as much as one third the price. We use time tested solid American hardwood frames, superior high density, high resilience foam that is comfortable to sit on and lasts. Every chair is tested for proper ergonomics by numerous people of all shapes and sizes before being put into production. Our chairs are well tailored, well packaged and come in clean and trouble free.

Our designers keep up with the latest fabrics and colors as we view our chairs as jewelry for the home. Their research can help your occasional chair department stay on top of the looks your customers are seeking. We have an extensive special order program with priority delivery on over 1200 fabric and frame combinations available.
